GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Dab Art does not accept unsolicited walk in submissions. Call entries and submissions must be completed online.

Painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, installation, digital art, all genres, mediums and disciplines are defined by open call specificities.
Exhibition & installation lengths can vary from 1 to 12 months. Artwork selected for exhibition must remain in our gallery space for the duration of the exhibit. Featured artists are invited & encouraged to personally attend opening receptions.
All work must be original, unsold work, & the artist must own the sole copyright to art. Frames, mats & wiring must be professional quality & in good condition. Wires must be securely fashioned & support weights of the artwork, saw tooth hangers are not acceptable. 2d artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Unframed or improperly mounted work will not be accepted.
Selection & Notification
Artists will contacted by Dab Art directly if selected for exhibition. Artists selected for an exhibition will be given ample time to prepare their work & make shipping or delivery arrangements prior to their exhibit date. All artists selected for exhibitions are subject to a studio visit by Dab Art's Gallery Director.
Rights of Refusal
Dab Art reserves the right to refuse artwork(s) that are not professionally presented or that do not resemble original submissions. Refused entries or submissions are not eligible for refunds.
Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping & insurance of artworks. Dab Art is not responsible for artwork damaged or lost during shipping. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or Fed Ex return label. Parcel packaging must be suitable to re-use for return shipping. Absolutely no packing peanuts! Crates, boxes, even small packages containing packing peanuts will be resealed & shipped back to you, no exceptions. Work sent through the US Postal Service, must include a pre-paid shipping label, USPS stamps will not be accepted.
The utmost care will be taken in handling all works. Neither Dab Art or any of the exhibition venues are responsible for faulty hangers or mounts on framed or unframed works. Beyond our limited liability coverage for theft or natural disaster, it is the artist's responsibility to carry additional insurance for any of their works sent for exhibition.
Group Exhibitions - All work exhibited must be available for sale. There is a 35% commission to Dab Art on all sales during the exhibition. Artwork selected for a group show must remain on exhibit for the duration of the exhibition.
Juried Shows - All work exhibited must be available for sale. There is a 35% commission to Dab Art on all sales during the exhibition. Artwork selected for a juried show must remain on exhibit for the duration of the exhibition.
Solo Exhibitions - All work exhibited must be available for sale. There is a 35% commission to Dab Art on all sales during the exhibition & 30 days subsequent to the close of the exhibit. Artwork selected for a solo show must remain on exhibit for the duration of the exhibition.
Artists on Roster - There is a 25% commission to Dab Art on all sales from exhibitions, online & inventory.
Commissions may vary for shows exhibited at venues other than H Gallery + Studios.
