A brand new exhibition space is now open on the second floor of The HUD Gallery + Studios. SPACE140 is reserved for small feature exhibits, special installations and student art. For the first exhibit in SPACE140, Dab Art is featuring neon artist Daniel Evans from Miami, Florida.

Vapor-tube devices filled with gas were invented in the early 1900s and were being shaped and used in advertising by the 1930s. Recently Neon Artwork has made a major resurgence and Dab Art is pleased to present this exclusive collection in SPACE140.

Daniel combines his visual art with familiar features, creating a vivid and interesting light experience. Up-cycled materials such as vintage tin ceiling tiles, green glass and Loteria cards give each of Daniels pieces a distinctive look. Original debuting in a large group show in early 2016 at The HUD, this series is revisited in a more intimate and focused setting in SPACE140.
